Celebrate National Library Week With Us!
Join us in celebrating National Library Week! This is a special time to recognize the vital role libraries play in our communities. From Sunday, April 14 through Saturday, April 20, we’ll be hosting a week of engaging events, fun programs, and ways to connect with your library. Everyone is welcome!
Events This Week
- Community Open House: Monday, April 15, 4:00–6:00 PM
Tour the library, meet staff, and learn about new services including eBooks, digital resources, and meeting-room bookings. - Author Talk & Book Signing: Tuesday, April 16, 6:30–8:00 PM
Hear from local author Shelbi Schollenberger about her latest work and ask questions during a short Q&A. (Registration recommended.) - Family Storytime & Crafts: Wednesday, April 17, 10:30–11:30 AM
Stories, songs, and a seasonal craft, perfect for families with young children. - Tech Drop-In: Thursday, April 18, 2:00–4:00 PM
One-on-one help with eReaders, library apps, and online resources. Bring your device and questions! - Teen Trivia Night: Friday, April 19, 7:00–8:30 PM
Teams compete for small prizes: pop culture, books, and library facts. - Community Volunteer Fair: Saturday, April 20, 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
Connect with local nonprofits and learn about volunteer opportunities.
How to Participate
Most events are free, but some require registration due to limited space. To sign up:

- Stop by the library front desk—our staff are happy to help you register in person.
Get Involved & Share the Fun
- Share your story: Tell us how the library has made a difference for you. Use the hashtag #LibraryWeek and tag us at @YourLibrary.
- Volunteer: Help at an event or become a reading buddy. Sign up at the Volunteer Fair.
- Bring a friend: Introduce someone new to the library and show them what we offer.
- Explore digital resources: Try an eBook, online course, or language app with your library card.
