Highlights From Last Month’s Community Events

Last month was filled with energy, creativity, and connection as our library hosted a variety of programs for patrons of all ages. From hands-on workshops to family-friendly gatherings, we loved seeing our community come together to learn, explore, and have fun. Here’s a look back at some of the standout moments.

Art for All: Community Craft Night

Our monthly Craft Night welcomed an enthusiastic group of makers who spent the evening painting, gluing, stitching, and creating. Families worked together on seasonal decorations, and several patrons proudly shared their finished projects on our community inspiration board.

Storytime Adventures

Saturday Storytime continued to be a favorite for families. This month featured guest readers from local organizations, along with interactive songs, movement breaks, and themed activities. The “Under the Sea” session was a highlight, complete with ocean-themed crafts.

Digital Skills Workshop

Patrons looking to build tech confidence joined our Digital Skills Workshop, where staff provided hands-on guidance with email setup, online safety basics, and accessing eBooks and audiobooks. Many attendees left feeling empowered to use digital tools independently.

Music in the Stacks

We wrapped up the month with a special live performance from local musicians right in the library. Visitors enjoyed a relaxing afternoon of acoustic music while browsing, studying, and discovering new titles.
